Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has shared some positive news as his side prepares for their FA Cup tie against Salford City on Saturday.
Guardiola revealed that key players are nearing full fitness after struggling with injuries in recent weeks.
While Ruben Dias is recovering, the defender will not be available for the FA Cup match. “He feels better but is not ready to play yet,” Guardiola confirmed.
In a brighter update, young midfielder Oscar Bobb, who fractured his leg in pre-season, has fully recovered and resumed training with the squad.
Guardiola expressed optimism, saying, “It’s good news that he’s back and training with the team.”
The Citizens head into the match with momentum, having secured back-to-back league victories for the first time since October.
