Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has acknowledged his struggles in bringing unity to the club amid mounting fan discontent over poor form and perceived lack of investment.
Following Spurs’ 2-1 home defeat to Leicester City, which left them languishing in 15th place, supporters voiced their frustration, directing chants of “Levy Out” at chairman Daniel Levy. Similar protests erupted during Tottenham’s 3-0 Europa League victory over Elfsborg.
Postecoglou admitted on Friday that he has “probably failed” in his efforts to unify the club, attributing some of the division to Tottenham’s struggles in the Premier League. However, he urged fans to rally behind the team during the crucial final phase of the season.
While acknowledging the tension, the Australian coach remains hopeful that improved performances on the pitch can mend the fractured relationship between the club and its supporters. “When you get things right on the field, that gets everyone aligned again,” he said, emphasizing his commitment to turning Spurs’ fortunes around.
