Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou remains calm despite facing two rejected transfer moves in the past 24 hours. Spurs had offers for Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel and AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori accepted, but both players declined to move to London.
Postecoglou, however, downplayed the setbacks, emphasizing that it’s crucial the players align with Tottenham’s future goals.
“If convincing them becomes too difficult, they are probably not the right profile for us,” said the Spurs manager.
Despite not being at the top of the table, Postecoglou believes Tottenham still offers a fantastic opportunity for success and insists the club remains competitive at a high level.
