Paris Saint-Germain lifted the Trophée des Champions for a record-extending 14th time after a 2-2 draw with Marseille in Kuwait, prevailing on penalties.
Ousmane Dembélé opened the scoring for PSG just before the 15th minute after a high press from Vitinha forced a turnover in Marseille’s half. Marseille responded, and Mason Greenwood drew them level from the penalty spot after being fouled in the box by Lucas Chevalier.
Hamed Traore’s cross then led to a late own-goal from Willian Pacho in the 87th minute, before Gonçalo Ramos struck in the 95th to send the game to a shootout.
In the penalty shootout, Chevalier emerged as the hero for PSG, making two crucial saves, while Desire Doue netted the decisive spot-kick to secure the victory.
The win gives PSG their first trophy of 2026 after a historic sextuple in 2025.
