Paris Saint-Germain secured their 13th Ligue 1 crown with a 1-0 win over Angers at the Parc des Princes on Saturday, sealing the title with six matches remaining.
Under Luis Enrique, the Parisian giants have flourished without their former star names, shifting to a more balanced, collective approach.
With the league wrapped up, Enrique has now set his sights on an unbeaten campaign, a feat never before achieved in French top-flight history.
“We’ve achieved one goal, now we want to finish without defeat,” the Spaniard said. “That would be historic and boost our momentum in Europe.”
Despite Kylian Mbappe’s departure last season, PSG have been firing on all cylinders, with Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola leading a dynamic, team-oriented attack that has seen 18 different scorers contribute to 80 league goals so far.
PSG’s dominance stretches beyond domestic borders, with the club still in the running for a treble—facing Aston Villa in the Champions League and Reims in the Coupe de France final in the coming weeks.
“This is the team I’ve envisioned, 11 players defending and attacking together,” Enrique added. “We’re in top form and hungry for more.”
