Paris Saint-Germain completed a dramatic comeback, overcoming a two-goal deficit to defeat Dunkerque 4-2 and secure their spot in the Coupe de France final.
Dunkerque shocked PSG early with Vincent Sasso’s header off a free-kick to take the lead in the 7th minute.
Despite dominating possession, PSG struggled to break through Dunkerque’s resilient defence, and the hosts doubled their lead in the 27th minute with a goal from Muhannad Al-Saad.
PSG responded just before halftime as Ousmane Dembele pulled one back with a powerful shot, cutting the deficit to 2-1. After a tense second half, Marquinhos leveled the game at 2-2 with a header from a corner.
Desire Doue’s deflected shot in the second half gave PSG the lead, and Dembele completed the comeback in injury time, capitalising on a defensive mistake to seal the victory and send PSG to the final.
While Dunkerque’s remarkable cup run ended, they can take pride in defeating three top-tier teams to reach the semi-finals.
