Paris Saint-Germain stormed back to the top of Ligue 1 with a 6-3 win at Toulouse, ending the hosts’ unbeaten start and stretching their own run of scoring in away games to 12.
The visitors needed just six minutes to break through, Joao Neves opening the scoring with a spectacular overhead kick before Bradley Barcola quickly doubled the lead.
Neves struck again in even more remarkable fashion soon after, leaving the home crowd stunned.
Ousmane Dembele converted from the spot to make it four before Charlie Cresswell pulled one back, and Toulouse then missed a golden chance to close the gap as Lucas Chevalier saved a penalty from Frank Magri and a retake from Cristian Casseres.
Dembele’s second penalty of the night early in the second half effectively killed the contest, and although the winger later limped off with a suspected hamstring issue, Neves completed his hat-trick with a powerful strike from distance.
Late goals from Yann Gboho and Alexis Vossah gave Toulouse some consolation, but PSG were already out of sight, sealing their 22nd win in 27 meetings with the southern side.
Luis Enrique’s men now sit back on top of the Ligue 1 table, while Toulouse’s unbeaten run comes to a brutal end.
