PSG Stage Comeback to Down Monaco in UCL Playoff Thriller.
Paris Saint-Germain fought back from two goals down to beat AS Monaco 3-2 and
continue their UEFA Champions League title defence, extending their unbeaten run
to 16 knockout matches under Luis Enrique.
Folarin Balogun stunned the holders with two early goals, but PSG responded before
half-time through Desire Doue and Achraf Hakimi, despite Vitinha missing a penalty.
Monaco’s hopes suffered a blow when Alexsandr Golovin was sent off after the
restart, and Doue struck again midway through the second half to complete the
turnaround.
The tie remains finely poised ahead of the second leg at the Parc des Princes.
