Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior criticised his side for conceding “cheap goals” after a
heavy 3-0 defeat to Everton extended their poor run.
The Blues, now winless in four matches across all competitions, were undone by a
Beto brace before Iliman Ndiaye added a late third.
“The responsibility and accountability is with me,” Rosenior said. “But it seems to be
happening too often that we give cheap goals away.”
Chelsea had started brightly but fell behind on 33 minutes, with Rosenior admitting
the key difference was in both boxes.
“The difference in the game was in both boxes… they were clinical and fully
deserved the victory,” he added.
The defeat leaves Chelsea sixth in the table, with mounting pressure to halt their
slide.
