Aryna Sabalenka powered past Paula Badosa 6-4, 6-2 on Thursday to secure a spot in her third straight Australian Open final.
The top seed overcame an early setback in the first set but quickly regained control, breaking Badosa twice to take the lead.
Sabalenka will face either Iga Swiatek or Madison Keys in Saturday’s final as she aims for her fourth Grand Slam title.
Badosa, playing in her first Grand Slam semi-final, struggled to handle the pressure and double-faulted early in the second set, allowing Sabalenka to dominate and cruise to victory with a forehand winner.
