The Serie A title race will go down to the final weekend after Napoli and Inter Milan both dropped points in dramatic circumstances.

Napoli were held to a tense 0-0 draw away at Parma, while Inter were pegged back late in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Lazio at San Siro, leaving the two title contenders still neck and neck with one game to play.

At the Stadio Ennio Tardini, Napoli stretched their unbeaten run to 11 matches but couldn’t find a way through a stubborn Parma side.

Alex Meret produced several key saves, including a fine tip-over from Simon Sohm, while Frank Anguissa hit the post with a brilliant volley.

A late Napoli penalty was overturned by VAR, preserving a point for the hosts and keeping them above the drop zone.

Over in Milan, Inter looked to have taken control of the title race twice but couldn’t hold on. Yann Bisseck and Denzel Dumfries both scored to put the Nerazzurri ahead, but Lazio hit back through Pedro and a stoppage-time penalty, also converted by the Spaniard. Marko Arnautović missed a golden chance to win it in added time.

It means both sides go into the final round with everything to play for.

Napoli host Cagliari, while Inter travel to Como, with just a single point separating the top two. The Scudetto will be decided next Sunday.
