Described as a loving and caring individual, Mrs. Akala is known for her accommodating nature and deep Christian faith. Guests at the celebration spoke fondly of her as a shining example of sacrificial love, a dedicated prayer warrior, and a woman with profound empathy. Mr. Lanre Akala, one of her children, shared touching sentiments about his mother, calling her the “most incredible woman” he has ever known. He further described the life of the celebrant as a shining example of sacrificial love, unwavering prayer, and deep empathy. He prayed for her continued joy, excellent health, and grace for many more decades to come.

Mrs. Felicia Mayami Akala, born on June 3, 1955, in Olugbo Akinde village, Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State, is the first surviving child of Mr. and Mrs. Mariam Famuyiwa, both of blessed memory. Her name, Olubanke, which means “God nurse her for me,” reflects the love and hope her parents held for her after enduring the loss of several children. The name Mayami, meaning “Don’t depart from me,” further signifies the cherished bond she shares with her family.
