Nigeria’s Super Eagles have landed in Moscow ahead of Friday’s international friendly against Russia, but six key players have withdrawn from the squad.

Ola Aina, Wilfred Ndidi, Samuel Chukwueze, Kelechi Iheanacho, Sadiq Umar, and Nathan Tella are all out due to injury, personal reasons, or administrative issues.

Coach Finidi Chelle has called up replacements including Enugu Rangers midfielder Saviour Isaac, Russia-based Olakunle Olusegun, and Unity Cup duo Sodiq Ismaila and Benjamin Fredericks.

Victor Boniface, Simon Moses, and Tolu Arokodare are the remaining attackers, while Maduka Okoye and Amas Obasogie will battle for the starting goalkeeper spot with Stanley Nwabali absent for family reasons.
