Tottenham silenced Hill Dickinson Stadium with a commanding 3-0 win, ending Everton’s unbeaten home record and reigniting their top-four charge.

Everton’s new ground had stood firm all season, but it took only 12 minutes for Spurs to expose the cracks. Rodrigo Bentancur kept a corner alive at the far post, allowing Micky van de Ven to nod home from close range.

The hosts thought they had levelled through Jake O’Brien, but VAR ruled that Iliman Ndiaye had obstructed goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, and the goal was chalked off.

From that point, Spurs took control. Van de Ven struck again before halftime, glancing in Pedro Porro’s corner for his fifth goal of the season as the visitors punished Everton’s set-piece vulnerability.

The Toffees pushed hard after the break, with Ndiaye and Merlin Röhl coming close, but their efforts lacked conviction.

Former Everton forward Richarlison nearly added to the scoreline when he intercepted a loose header from James Tarkowski, but Jordan Pickford denied him.

In stoppage time, Pape Matar Sarr sealed the win with a crisp finish, capping off a professional display from Ange Postecoglou’s men.

The result lifts Tottenham to third in the Premier League table and snaps a six-match winless run against Everton. For David Moyes, it was a humbling first defeat at the club’s new home
