SPURS SLIDE DEEPER INTO RELEGATION TROUBLE AFTER PALACE DEFEAT.
Tottenham Hotspur’s relegation fears intensified after a 3-1 home defeat to Crystal
Palace stretched their Premier League winless run to a club-record 11 matches,
leaving them just one point above the drop zone.
Spurs briefly led through Dominic Solanke after a strong run and assist from Archie
Gray, but the game turned when Micky Van de Ven was sent off for pulling down
Ismaïla Sarr, who calmly converted the resulting penalty.
Crystal Palace took full control before half-time as Adam Wharton set up goals for
Jorgen Strand Larsen and Sarr to put the visitors firmly ahead.
Tottenham improved slightly after the break but never seriously threatened a
comeback, leaving Igor Tudor still searching for his first league win of 2026.
