The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that the Super Eagles will open camp in Rabat on Sunday, November 10, ahead of their crucial 2026 World Cup African playoffs in Morocco.

Nigeria will face Gabon in one of the semi-final fixtures on November 13, with the winner meeting either Cameroon or DR Congo in the playoff final three days later.

Both the semi-finals and final will take place in Rabat, with venues to be confirmed after a CAF draw to decide which matches will hold at the El-Barid Stadium or the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex.

The overall winner of the four-team playoff will earn a place in the intercontinental playoffs in Mexico by March 2026, the final gateway to the expanded World Cup in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

NFF president Ibrahim Gusau expressed confidence in the team’s readiness, saying every detail of preparation is being handled meticulously.

“That special spirit that saw the team rise to the occasion and score the four goals they needed against Benin Republic will propel the team to victory in the playoffs,” Gusau said.

Nigeria will aim to channel that same determination as they look to return to the global stage after missing the last edition in Qatar.
