Minnesota stormed past Golden State 121-110 on Wednesday to seal a 4-1 series win and book a return to the Western Conference finals.
The Timberwolves, dominant throughout the series, built a 25-point lead by the third quarter in Minneapolis and held off a late Warriors push to wrap up victory.
Julius Randle led the way with 29 points, while Anthony Edwards added 22 points, 12 assists, and seven rebounds.
Golden State, hampered by Stephen Curry’s injury in Game 1, never found their rhythm.
Coach Steve Kerr admitted the loss of Curry also blunted Jimmy Butler’s impact, calling it a pivotal blow to their title hopes.
Minnesota will face either Denver or Oklahoma City for a spot in the NBA Finals.
