Tinubu Swears in Eight Permanent Secretaries and 18 RMAFC Commissioners

President Bola Tinubu has sworn in eight new Federal Permanent Secretaries and 18 Commissioners for the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) in a ceremony at the State House, Abuja, just before the first Federal Executive Council meeting of the year.

The newly appointed permanent secretaries include Onwusoro Ihemelandu (Abia), Ndiomu Philip (Bayelsa), Anuma Nlia (Ebonyi), Ogbodo Nnam (Enugu), Usman Aminu (Kebbi), Oyekunle Nwakuso (Rivers), Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna), and Kalba Usman (Gombe).

The 18 newly sworn-in RMAFC commissioners represent various states, including Linda Oti (Abia), Akpan Effiong (Akwa Ibom), Enefe Ekene (Anambra), Prof. Steve Ugba (Benue), and others from across Nigeria.

Additionally, a new Commissioner for the Federal Character Commission, Kayode Oladele, and a member of the National Population Commission, Victoria Iyatan, were also sworn in.

The meeting included a minute of silence in honor of Lt. Gen. Jeremiah Useni, former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, who passed away on January 23, 2025.
