Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Austria defender Kevin Danso will join permanently from Lens once the transfer window opens on Sunday.
Danso, 26, arrived on loan from the French side in February and featured 10 times in the Premier League.
His £21m move was agreed as part of the original loan terms. He also made a brief appearance in Spurs’ Europa League final victory over Manchester United.
The club also announced that Sergio Reguilon, Fraser Forster and Alfie Whiteman will depart when their contracts expire in June.
Meanwhile, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s loan switch to Marseille will become permanent.
Timo Werner, who spent the season on loan from RB Leipzig, will return to Germany after scoring five goals in all competitions.
“We thank Fraser, Sergio, Alfie and Timo for their service and wish them well for the future,” read a club statement.
Despite their European success, Spurs endured their worst ever Premier League campaign. Manager Ange Postecoglou’s position remains uncertain heading into the summer.
