The administration of President Donald Trump has ordered migrants who entered the United States under the Biden-era CBP One app system to leave the country without delay. This directive follows the formal termination of the CBP One app which had been used since January 2023 to schedule appointments for migrants at U.S. border entry points.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, official notices have been issued to affected individuals—instructing them to voluntarily return to their home countries using the CBP Home App. Authorities cautioned that failure to comply would lead to deportation and a lifetime ban from re-entry into the United States.

The move is expected to affect over 930,000 migrants and marks a significant reversal of the previous administration’s immigration approach. The CBP One app was designed to streamline and humanize border processing but its cancellation highlights Trump’s renewed determination to stricter immigration enforcement—fulfilling a key pledge of his ongoing political campaign.
