UK Embassy Announces Changes to Visa Application Process in Nigeria

November 22, 2024

The UK embassy has announced updates regarding visa applications and processes through a statement on its X (formerly Twitter) account. These updates will involve changes to the locations where applicants can submit and collect their documents.

The statement noted, “Our visa application centre provider in Nigeria is changing. As a result, some customers may need to submit and retrieve their documents from different locations during this transition. If this affects you, you will be contacted via email.”

Additionally, the embassy confirmed that the visa application centres in Lagos and Abuja will continue to operate. They recommend that applicants book their appointments in advance before arriving at these centres. Those impacted by the changes will receive notification via email with further details.

The public is encouraged to check the official UK visa application website for more information.
