VALVERDE’S LATE STRIKE GIVES REAL MADRID WIN AT CELTA.

Federico Valverde scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner as Real Madrid CF beat
RC Celta de Vigo 2-1 in La Liga to end a two-match losing run.
Aurelien Tchouameni gave Madrid the lead early in the first half, but Celta pushed for
an equaliser with chances from Borja Iglesias and Iago Aspas.
Just as the match seemed headed for a draw, Valverde struck from long range in the
94th minute to seal the win and move Madrid within one point of leaders FC
Barcelona.
