Virgil van Dijk’s dramatic 89th-minute header sealed a 2-1 win for Liverpool over West Ham, pushing the Reds 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League with just 18 left to play.

Luis Diaz had given Liverpool an early lead, but an Andy Robertson own goal threatened to derail the party before Van Dijk stepped up. A title win could now come as early as Easter Sunday.

Manchester City, meanwhile, produced a stunning turnaround at the Etihad. Trailing Crystal Palace 2-0 within 20 minutes, Pep Guardiola’s side fought back to win 5-2, led by Kevin De Bruyne in vintage form.

The Belgian star scored a free-kick and set up two more as City climbed back into the top five, keeping their Champions League hopes alive.

Arsenal’s 1-1 slip-up at Brentford handed Liverpool more breathing space at the summit.

Elsewhere, Chelsea’s struggles continued after a 2-2 home draw with Ipswich. Despite 74% possession and 34 attempts on goal, Enzo Maresca’s men couldn’t find a winner.

With four of their final six games against top-eight sides, the Blues face a steep uphill battle to qualify for Europe.
