In a bizarre turn of events, residents of an estate near Chevron Drive in Lekki, Lagos state found themselves mysteriously slumbering, allegedly due to a voodoo ritual placed at the estate’s gate. This unusual event has left the community in disbelief and raised significant concerns about safety and security in the area.

An anonymous eyewitness reported that shortly after the charm was placed, both residents and security personnel fell into an inexplicable sleep, unable to react to the chaos that ensued. During this unconscious period, a group of unknown individuals took advantage of the situation, vandalizing several parked vehicles, particularly targeting Toyota models. The thieves reportedly stole various internal components, leaving the cars in disarray and their owners distraught.

Another resident recounted, “Everyone in the estate, including the security staff, slept soundly until 8 AM the next day. We later found out that a charm had been placed at the estate gate, causing this abnormal sleep.”

The incident has sparked significant alarm among residents, who are calling for answers and heightened security measures to prevent future incidents. As the community navigates the aftermath of this strange occurrence, it serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities that can arise in unexpected situations.
