The APC’s Director of Publicity, Bala Ibrahim, has confidently predicted the defeat of former President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2027 presidential race, regardless of the platform he runs on.
Speaking amid rumors of Jonathan aligning with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ibrahim recalled the party’s success in the 2025 contest — even when Jonathan was buoyed by the PDP’s backing.
He argued that APC’s prior victory is proof of its strength.
“Defeating Jonathan in 2027 will be straightforward,” Ibrahim said in an interview, “because ADC is not organised.”
He emphasized that APC currently enjoys widespread public support, a factor he believes will guarantee victory, no matter where Jonathan contests from.
