Fulham has successfully brought back Willian on a free transfer after he parted ways with Olympiacos at the end of the previous year. The ex-Chelsea player had already spent two seasons at Craven Cottage, during which he made 67 competitive appearances before departing at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season.
Following his exit, Willian signed a one-year contract with Olympiacos, but his tenure with the Greek club was abruptly ended in December. Recent reports indicated that Fulham was close to finalizing Willian’s return after agreeing on terms with the Brazilian winger.
The club has now officially announced that Willian has rejoined on a short-term contract that will last until the end of the current season. Expressing his excitement, Willian stated on the club’s official website, “I’m really happy to be back here. It’s a fantastic opportunity to play for this club again, and I’m fully motivated to take to the field and perform well.”
He added, “I’m completely content, and my family is happy too. We are thrilled to return, and I believe we can achieve great things together until the season concludes. I can’t wait to start working with my teammates and contribute positively on the pitch.”
