Paris St-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembele has been named the Fifa men’s player of the year after a stellar 2024–25 season.
The 28-year-old collected the award in Qatar on Tuesday, adding to the Ballon d’Or he won earlier this year.
Dembele was central to PSG’s four-trophy campaign, including their first Champions League title, and finished the season with 51 goal contributions in 53 matches.
He beat Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe to the top honour.
Elsewhere, PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma was named Fifa men’s goalkeeper of the year after playing a key role in their Champions League triumph, while Luis Enrique won the men’s coach of the year award following PSG’s historic season.
The Puskas Award went to Independiente winger Santiago Montiel for his spectacular overhead kick in Argentina’s Primera Division, capping a night dominated by PSG at the Fifa Best awards.
