Heartbreak for Nollywood Star Patrick Doyle as Newborn Daughter Dies Hours After Birth

Veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle has been thrown into mourning following the death of his newborn daughter, Omayinuwa Doyle, barely a day after her birth.

The infant reportedly passed away on Saturday, April 11, just hours after she was welcomed into the world on Friday morning.

Announcing the tragic loss via his Facebook page on Sunday, the actor expressed gratitude for the brief but meaningful time his family shared with the child. According to him, Omayinuwa was born at about 10:40 a.m. on April 10 and died at approximately 4:15 p.m. the following day.

He described her short stay as one that brought immense joy, despite the pain of losing her so soon. Doyle also reaffirmed his faith, noting that his trust in God remains unshaken in the face of the heartbreaking incident.

The actor recently welcomed the baby with his wife, Funmilayo Doyle.

Following the announcement, fans, colleagues, and well-wishers have taken to social media to express their condolences and offer prayers to the grieving family.
