Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has sounded a warning ahead of his side’s
decisive Premier League showdown with Arsenal.
Manchester City closed the gap to six points with a 3-0 victory over Chelsea, as Nico
O’Reilly, Marc Guehi, and Jeremy Doku struck following Arsenal’s slip against
Bournemouth.
With a game in hand, City could seize control of the title race at the Etihad next
weekend.
“The respect I have for Arsenal… they are an extraordinary team,” Guardiola said.
“Beating them once is so difficult; imagine twice.”
He added a stark warning: “If they beat us, it’s over.”
City are peaking at a crucial stage, while Arsenal’s momentum has faltered.
Guardiola also praised Rayan Cherki, describing him as “an extraordinary talent”
after his growing impact.
