Loftus-Cheek Suffers Fractured Jaw in Milan Defeat.
England midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek suffered a fractured jaw during AC Milan’s
1-0 Serie A defeat to Parma on Sunday and is set to undergo surgery.
The 29-year-old was stretchered off at the San Siro around the 10-minute mark after
colliding with Parma goalkeeper Edoardo Corvi while attempting to meet a cross.
Italian media reported he sustained a fractured alveolar bone, along with broken
upper teeth and facial cuts.
According to Sky Sports Italia, Loftus-Cheek will have surgery on Monday and is
expected to be sidelined for several months.
