Record producer and singer Pheelz has appealed to music fans to stop comparing artists, expressing concern over the increasing toxicity within fan communities.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the “Finesse” hitmaker lamented the trend of pitting musicians against one another, noting that such behaviour is damaging to the creative space. He urged fans to focus on enjoying music rather than turning it into a competition.

Pheelz emphasized that music should be valued for its individuality and artistic expression, warning that constant comparisons undermine creativity and harm the industry as a whole. According to him, every artist brings a unique sound that deserves appreciation on its own merit.

“Music was meant to be enjoyed, not to be compared. This comparison game is hurting the sound and culture more than we can ever know,” he wrote.

His comments have since sparked conversations online about fan culture, artistic freedom, and the need for a more supportive music community that celebrates diversity rather than rivalry.
