The Super Eagles of Nigeria will hold their first full training session ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco on Friday.

The session follows the cancellation of Thursday’s planned workout after the team arrived late in Fez, making it impossible to train at the scheduled 6pm local time.

Nigeria travelled to Morocco three days before the tournament kicks off and five days ahead of their Group C opener against Tanzania, as preparations enter the final phase.

The build-up had earlier been affected in Cairo by the staggered arrival of players, with camp opening on Sunday with 10 players before the full 28-man squad assembled by Wednesday.
