Benzema Joins Al Hilal After Al Ittihad Exit

Karim Benzema has completed a move to Saudi Pro League leaders Al Hilal after the
termination of his contract with Al Ittihad
The 38-year-old joins on a free transfer, signing a deal that runs for one and a half
years.
Local reports say Benzema turned down an extension at Al Ittihad, where he enjoyed a
trophy-laden spell, winning the league and King’s Cup last season.
He departs having scored 16 goals in 21 matches this campaign.
Al Hilal sit top of the standings on 47 points, one ahead of Al Nassr, while Al Ittihad drop
to sixth.
