FIFA INVESTIGATES CONGO FA BOSSES OVER ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT.

FIFA has opened formal ethics proceedings against three senior officials of the Congolese Football Association over alleged embezzlement of funds.
Those under investigation are FECOFOOT president Jean Guy Mayolas, General
Secretary Wantete Badji and Finance Director Raoul Kanda, following a review that
uncovered suspected financial irregularities.
The case centres on possible breaches of FIFA’s Code of Ethics, including
misappropriation of funds, forgery, conflicts of interest, and improper benefits.
FIFA said the process is ongoing and declined further comment, reaffirming its
stance on financial accountability in football.
