Nottingham Forest have sacked Sean Dyche after a 0-0 home draw with Wolves left
them three points above the Premier League relegation zone.
Dyche lasted just 114 days, becoming Forest’s fourth manager this season.
The club confirmed his exit in a brief statement thanking him and his staff for their
efforts.
The goalless stalemate against bottom club Wolves, despite Forest registering 35
shots, proved decisive.
Fans booed at the final whistle and Dyche admitted he was a “realist” about his
position, accepting that owner Evangelos Marinakis could make a change.
Marinakis has already dismissed Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou this
term.
Forest now prepare for a Europa League trip to Fenerbahce on February 19 before
hosting Liverpool three days later under yet another manager.
