Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Iyabo Ojo has shared a cryptic message on social media amid ongoing controversies rocking the Nigerian film industry.

In an Instagram post featuring an image of a billboard, Ojo wrote, “Jealousy is the last class to attend before becoming a witch.” She followed up with a bold caption encouraging self-focus and action, stating: “Who made the rules? Nobody you gotta answer to. 2026 ain’t for talkers, it’s for doers. Do what works for you. Let others win their way. You win yours. Period.”

The post is widely seen as a response to the recent debates within Nollywood, with Ojo appearing to dismiss critics and reaffirm her commitment to personal goals and progress.

Her message comes amid a wave of industry conversations and controversies, including filmmaker Kunle Afolayan’s remarks on creatives’ online presence. Actress Funke Akindele has since urged filmmakers to focus on innovation rather than criticism, while Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde highlighted the importance of authenticity in film promotion.

Ojo’s post adds another voice to the ongoing discourse, signalling a growing push among Nollywood stars for individuality, confidence, and forward momentum in the industry.
