Marseille Open Talks to Loan Arsenal’s Nwaneri
Marseille are in discussions with Arsenal over a potential loan move for teenage forward Ethan Nwaneri, as interest grows in the highly rated youngster.
Several clubs are understood to be monitoring Nwaneri’s situation, but the Ligue 1 side believe their attacking style and regular minutes could aid his development.
The 17-year-old has made just four starts for Arsenal this season, none of them in the Premier League.
Despite limited game time, Arsenal remain committed to Nwaneri’s future. He signed a new five-year contract in August, keeping him at the club until 2030, and is viewed as a key part of the Gunners’ long-term plans.
Nwaneri is currently in Milan with the Arsenal squad ahead of their Champions League clash against Inter, with any loan decision expected to be weighed carefully.
