Milan Cruise Past Bologna to Close Gap on Inter
AC Milan moved within five points of Serie A leaders Inter after a comfortable 3-0 win at
Bologna, extending an unbeaten run that stretches back to the second matchday.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek opened the scoring just before halftime after Christopher Nkunku’s
header was parried, and Nkunku added a penalty following a foul in the box.
Adrien Rabiot capped the win early in the second half, converting a simple chance after
a Bologna mistake.
Bologna have now lost three league games in a row, leaving their hopes of European
qualification in doubt.
Milan, meanwhile, remain strong title contenders under Massimiliano Allegri, having lost
just once in their last 20 visits to Bologna.
