Trump Slams 2026 Grammys, Threatens Legal Action Against Trevor Noah
In a stunning turn of events, former President Donald Trump has taken to social media to express his outrage over comments made by Trevor Noah during the 68th Grammy Awards. The host’s joke, which linked Trump to the notorious Jeffrey Epstein, has ignited a firestorm, prompting Trump to threaten legal action against the comedian.
U.S. President Donald Trump described the grammy award as “virtually unwatchable” and accusing its host, Trevor Noah, of making a false and defamatory statement about him.
In a post on his Truth Social account, Trump said the Grammys were among the “worst” award shows and claimed broadcaster CBS was “lucky” to no longer air what he called “garbage.”
During the awards ceremony, Noah quipped about Trump’s alleged connections to Epstein’s infamous private island, a remark that Trump vehemently denied. In a post on Truth Social, Trump labeled Noah a “total loser” and “talentless,” claiming that such jokes are not only defamatory but also damaging to his reputation.
The president warned that he was considering legal action against Noah, calling him a “pathetic” and “talentless” master of ceremonies, and suggested his lawyers could pursue a lawsuit for damages.
Trump also referenced previous legal disputes involving media figures, saying they had “worked out well” for him
