Galatasaray Fans Plan Emotional Tribute for Osimhen’s Late Mother.

Supporters of Galatasaray are preparing a special tifo display in honor of the late
mother of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen at Rams Park.
The tribute is expected to take place during one of the club’s upcoming home
fixtures, as fans organise a large-scale choreography to show solidarity with the
Nigerian forward, whose mother died when he was just two or three years old.
In a personal essay titled “A Prayer From the Gutter” published on The Players’
Tribune, Osimhen wrote: “My mother died when I was two or three. Too young to
remember anything except her holding me.”
He also said last year, “My mother’s death still hurts me today. She never lived long
enough to enjoy the things she sacrificed for.”
Since arriving in Istanbul, Osimhen has become a fan favourite with decisive goals
and strong performances.
The planned tribute highlights the deep bond between the striker and the
Galatasaray faithful.
