SUPER EAGLES HOLD 26TH IN LATEST FIFA RANKINGS AFTER MIXED RESULTS

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have retained 26th place in the latest FIFA World Rankings
following their March international outings.
Eric Chelle’s side beat Iran 2-1 to gain points, but dropped some after a 2-2 draw with
lower-ranked Jordan, leaving them unchanged on 1585.09 points.
The ranking keeps Nigeria at its highest position in 16 years, maintaining the
progress made after its third-place finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
On the continent, Nigeria remains third behind Morocco and Senegal, while France
now tops the global rankings ahead of Spain and Argentina.
