Spain maintained their impressive run of form with a dominant 3-0 victory over
Serbia in an international friendly, extending their unbeaten head-to-head streak to
nine matches.
Mikel Oyarzabal led the charge with a clinical first-half brace, opening the scoring
after linking up with Fermin Lopez, before adding a stunning second just before the
break.
Spain controlled the tempo throughout, with Lamine Yamal and Lopez both going
close as the hosts asserted their superiority.
Serbia struggled to gain a foothold in the contest, with its limited attacking threat
comfortably handled by Unai Simon.
The second half saw Spain ease off slightly but remain in control, and their
dominance was rewarded again when debutant Victor Munoz added a third with a
superb finish following good work from Ferran Torres.
Late chances came and went for La Roja, but the result was never in doubt as they
secured another convincing win, continuing their strong momentum ahead of the
World Cup.
