AC Milan staged a spirited comeback from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw against Fiorentina in a gripping Serie A contest at San Siro, preserving their strong home form with just one defeat in 17 matches.

The visitors stunned the hosts early on, taking a two-goal lead within 10 minutes.

Malick Thiaw inadvertently turned the ball into his own net from Albert Gudmundsson’s cross, before Moise Kean slotted home his 17th goal of the season from Dodo’s assist.

Sergio Conceição’s Milan side regrouped, and Tammy Abraham halved the deficit with a composed finish midway through the first half following a slick one-two with Christian Pulisic.

The Rossoneri came out firing after the break, but were repeatedly denied by an inspired David de Gea in the Fiorentina goal. Eventually, Luka Jovic found the breakthrough, calmly equalising after a vital save from Mike Maignan kept Milan in it at the other end.

Despite both teams pushing for a winner and a late Fiorentina goal being ruled out for offside, the spoils were shared, leaving Fiorentina still chasing their first league double over Milan in more than two decades.
