In line with its bold diversification strategy and commitment to innovation and global best practices, Tantalizers PLC has announced the appointment of Mr. Charles (Charlie) Quinn as a Non-Executive Director on the Company’s Board, effective Tuesday, 15th April 2025.
According to the company, in a statement posted on the website of NGX, Mr. Quinn’s appointment comes at a transformative moment for Tantalizers, as the Company expands into the blue economy with the launch of Tantalizers Fisheries, a new strategic business arm focused on sustainable fisheries, seafood processing, and marine logistics.
With over four decades of deep expertise in the marine industrial sector, Mr. Quinn is widely respected as a pioneer in commercial fishing operations and marine innovation.
Based in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the most valuable commercial fishing port in the United States, Mr. Quinn began his career in 1980 and rose through the ranks from crew member to Captain, and eventually, the owner of several fleets of commercial vessels.
He is also the founder of several marine-based companies, including East Coast Fabrication, Lighthouse Marine, and Standard Marine Outfitters.
His collaborations with leading marine science institutions, as well as his service on the NOAA Advisory Panel for Scallop Resource, earned him the prestigious NOAA Environmental Hero Award for his contributions to sustainable fishing.
