The Federal Ministry of Education has officially announced the appointment of Professor Carol Arinze-Umobi as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, effective May 19, 2025.
In a letter signed by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Barrister Olugbenga M. Kukoyi, it reads “By virtue of Section 5(13) of the Act, your term of appointment shall not exceed a maximum period of six (6) months, or until a substantive Vice-Chancellor is appointed, whichever comes first”.
Professor Carol C. Arinze-Umobi will resume on Monday, 19th May, 2025.
