Tottenham have dismissed a fresh approach from a consortium led by American tech entrepreneur Brooklyn Earick, insisting the club is not for sale despite mounting speculation over its future ownership.
Enic Sports & Developments Holdings Ltd, which controls almost 87% of the club, issued a firm statement on Saturday “reconfirming that Tottenham Hotspur is not for sale and Enic is not looking to sell its stake.”
It is the third proposal rejected since the sudden exit of long-serving chairman Daniel Levy earlier this month.
Manager Thomas Frank sought to reassure supporters, stressing he has been given clear assurances from both the Lewis family and chief executive Vinai Venkatesham that stability is the priority.
Tottenham, who ended a 16-year wait for silverware by winning the Europa League final in May, continue to insist that ownership changes are not on the agenda.
