”Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has declared that the 2027 governorship election will be a “walkover” in his favor given the support he anticipates from President Bola Tinubu.
He stated this with conviction, stressing that he does not intend to disrespect any potential challengers but remains confident in his prospects.
“So, I mean it with no disrespect to everybody. And I keep saying this, whoever…” he began, before elaborating that it will not be the same scenario as witnessed in previous elections.
Jandor said that the backing of Tinubu is decisive. He asserted that with Tinubu’s influence and endorsement, his path to victory is almost assured.
He referenced the differences between past contests and what he expects in 2027, suggesting that the dynamics will be more favorable for him this time around.
He emphasized that the alignment and synergy between himself and the President will change the political landscape, thereby making opposition more constrained.
Jandor also alluded to the fact that Tinubu’s support will strengthen his campaign machinery, sending a message to other aspirants about the seriousness of his intention.
