Nollywood actress and medical professional Jemima Osunde has added another feather to her cap, earning a Master’s degree in Public Health — her third academic degree.
The actress took to Instagram to share the milestone, expressing pride in her ability to balance a thriving career in entertainment with her passion for healthcare and education.
“Stay warm guys, I hear it’s 3 degrees outside. Of course, I had to use a cheeky caption. A Master of Science in Public Health. My 3rd degree. Forever doing side quests,” Osunde wrote.
Reflecting on her academic and professional journey, the Shuga star revealed that she successfully combined her medical studies at the College of Medicine, Idi-Araba, with acting, and even worked full-time at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) while pursuing her passions.
“Why do I chase academic qualifications and a career in healthcare even with my career in entertainment? My simple answer is why not? I’ve always lived the best of both worlds,” she wrote.
She playfully added, “The other answer is just ’cause I want to tell my kids mummy has two heads. Very proud of myself.”
Osunde’s remarkable achievement has earned her widespread praise and admiration from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers, who hailed her for her discipline, brilliance, and dedication to both medicine and the arts.
