Actress Regina Daniels has issued a fiery response to fellow co-wife Laila Charani after a barrage of shocking accusations involving drug use, lesbian affairs, and endangering children within their polygamous household.
Laila had earlier accused Regina of being a harmful influence, claiming she does not trust her daughters alone with the actress. She maintained that she is content with the provisions made for her by their husband, Ned Nwoko, insisting that Regina’s alleged addiction to drugs and alcohol is the real source of conflict in the home.
According to Laila, Ned “completely hates alcohol, drugs, and smoking” and has always insisted that no wife of his should indulge in such habits. She alleged that Regina introduced her to drugs six years ago—an experience she said almost cost her marriage before Ned intervened.
“You have been a bad influence since you married into this beautiful family, giving drugs to nannies and our workers, including your younger sister Destiny,” Laila claimed. She further alleged that she cannot leave her daughters around Regina, accusing the actress of sleeping with “every single girl” around her.
Responding on social media, Regina dismissed Laila’s statement as a script allegedly dictated by Ned Nwoko. She described the claim that children should not be left alone with her as “the most useless and hurtful thing to say.”
Addressing the allegation of same-sex relationships, the actress neither confirmed nor denied it but turned the accusation back on Laila.
“Truthfully, sleeping with the same gender isn’t something I consider shameful, but how is the other woman so certain? Is she so certain because I slept with her, too?” Regina wrote.
She also hinted at unresolved issues involving their children, claiming that if not for the complications of polygamy, she would never allow her son to associate with Laila’s due to “atrocities” she says they have witnessed.
The explosive exchange has reignited public debate surrounding the Nwoko household, with both co-wives publicly trading damaging allegations in what has become one of the most controversial celebrity feuds of the year.
