Kaduna, Nigeria –Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, has made explosive allegations against his successor, Governor Uba Sani, claiming that the current administration has paid ₦1 billion to bandits. El-Rufai asserted that the government has not only compensated these criminal groups but has also issued apologies, a claim he insists is backed by substantial evidence.
El-Rufai challenged Governor Sani and other officials to publicly refute his accusations, stating, “If the governor or any government official disagrees, let them publicly refute it, as we possess evidence and proof.” His comments have sparked significant controversy and debate within the state, highlighting ongoing concerns about security and governance in the region.
